About the position
ERM is hiring Archaeological Field Technicians to support survey efforts for projects located in La Paz and Maricopa Counties, AZ. Successful candidates will conduct archaeological field surveys. This is a full-time (40+ hours a week), limited-term field-based role for a duration of eight weeks, extendable.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspecting the land surface for presence of archaeological and historic built resources
- Working well with others
- Compliance with corporate Health and Safety requirements
- Performing other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
- Bachelors in Anthropology required, unless has obtained Field Certification from a junior college
- Prior archaeological field survey experience
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain
- Working knowledge of archaeological survey protocols
- Ability to work in the field for extended periods of time
