About the position

The Area Leader of Recruiting at Raising Cane's is responsible for overseeing the full cycle recruiting process for restaurant management positions and providing strategic support for crewmember hiring within a designated market. This role collaborates with area leadership to assess hiring needs and implement strategies to ensure that new restaurants are fully staffed and existing locations maintain optimal staffing levels. The position emphasizes building a strong employer brand and cultivating relationships within the community to attract top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process for internal and external candidates for restaurant management positions.
  • Cultivate a management candidate talent pipeline aligned with the organization's growth strategy.
  • Evaluate incoming applications and actively source passive candidates for management roles.
  • Develop market-based recruiting strategies and partnerships to support management staffing efforts.
  • Lead the management recruiting processes ensuring consistency and a positive candidate experience.
  • Build Raising Cane's employer brand presence in the community by establishing relationships with schools and organizations.
  • Lead the New Restaurant Opening (NRO) crewmember hiring strategy and process.
  • Develop and execute restaurant crew staffing plans to meet hiring needs.
  • Provide regular updates on crew staffing to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist Restaurant Leaders with developing recruiting skills necessary to maintain staffing levels.
  • Plan and execute crew hiring events as needed.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Area and Regional Business Unit Teams to align recruiting efforts with business goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in the restaurant industry.
  • Experience working for a multi-unit restaurant, retail, or hospitality company preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Self-driven, flexible, and energetic.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient with various technology systems and quick to adapt to new systems.
  • Strong work ethic and hands-on approach.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to lead and motivate crewmembers and leaders.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
