About the position

As the RNC ASM, you will play a crucial role in expanding Aeroseal’s presence in the residential construction market by directly engaging with potential and current home builders. This will involve traveling within the assigned territory to meet with builders, HERS raters, and dealers to promote and demonstrate Aeroseal’s products, negotiate sales contracts, and influence the adoption of innovative solutions in new construction projects. A successful candidate will be a driven self-starter, with a hunter mentality, confident in engaging in technical conversations, and capable of building strong relationships with customers to grow and maintain the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of Aeroseal’s AeroBarrier Envelope Sealing and Aeroseal Duct Sealing at residential new construction builders.
  • Meet and exceed sales projections, generating ongoing sales opportunities and achieving company and individual KPI goals.
  • Prospect for new business, identify and qualify potential clients, and secure new business relationships.
  • Follow up on leads from digital campaigns, conferences, tradeshows, and referrals, converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with current and potential clients, particularly builders and HERS raters, to drive sales and product application.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and leads in Salesforce, ensuring up-to-date tracking of all prospective client information.
  • Join the local Home Builders Association (HBA). Attend industry conferences, tradeshows, and product demonstrations to build brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Work closely with management to plan, forecast, and align sales strategies with overall company goals.
  • Become an expert in Aeroseal products, processes, and operations to effectively communicate technical benefits and solutions to customers.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends in the construction industry, building science, and relevant codes, to ensure sales strategies remain aligned with market needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Management, Communication, or Liberal Arts is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrated success in sales/business development, preferably in the construction industry or residential new construction product sales.
  • Experience working directly with builders, HERS raters, or in a similar capacity in the construction market is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative.
  • Experience in lead generation, prospect management, and driving sales through cold calling, presentations, and relationship-building.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with potential customers and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team, including coordination with management and other departments.
  • A strong desire for continuous learning, staying updated with industry trends, and expanding professional knowledge.
