About The Position

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for enhancing the productivity of a designated group of sales colleagues at Terminix. This role involves implementing training programs, providing coaching and mentoring, and ensuring that the sales team meets performance standards and key performance indicators (KPIs). The manager will collaborate with field leadership to drive performance and support the sales and operations teams in achieving their goals.

Requirements

  • At least one year of Rentokil Terminix experience in the designated field with RTX.
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and regulations.
  • Skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence effectively.
  • Ability to perform basic business mathematics and analyze sales data.
  • Maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, onboard, train, manage, and engage a team of frontline sales colleagues in the designated area.
  • Support collaboration between Sales and Operations within the territory to align goals and drive performance.
  • Lead weekly meetings with the team to monitor performance and focus on skill development.
  • Provide ongoing technical training on services offered in the assigned territory as needed.
  • Facilitate one-on-one debriefs with the team to improve communication and identify training needs.
  • Ensure the team meets or exceeds activity standards for Field Sales Colleague performance and other selected KPIs.
  • Monitor progress against revenue objectives and work jointly with Operations for APITDA realization.
  • Serve as a steward of the RentokilTerminix business model to ensure company programs are delivered with excellence.
  • Monitor, coach, and develop the team for effective growth and development.
  • Plan and organize job-related items for new hires and evaluate opportunities for improvement in the field.
