About the position

The Creative Studio at SoFi is looking for a talented art director to join our best-in-class in-house agency and deliver exceptional digital experiences for our rapidly growing brand. You have a passion for all things digital, expertise in balancing design and UX, and familiarity with navigating UX and web engineering considerations and constraints. You’ll partner with product marketers, project managers, and other cross-functional partners to create digital assets for several key products and initiatives, including supporting the Galileo team. Experience with fintech brands and B2B is a plus. We’re looking for someone who is driven, forward-thinking, and nimble enough to collaborate with your creative partners on messaging as well as visual design. You’ll be joining a supportive, fun team culture of creative people excited to come to work every day in order to help people get their money right.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end concept and design for marketing projects across a variety of digital mediums, including but not limited to: Email Design (marketing and transactional), In-app experiences, Social media posts, Lead gen campaigns and assets, Digital Videos, Webpages (our site, lead gen pages, partner pages) and other interactive assets, Digital Display Banners.
  • Create marketing materials for engaging, fast-growing products.
  • Collaborate with your team copywriter on messaging.
  • Create consumer and enterprise-facing work that is visually exciting, forward-thinking, and emotionally engaging.
  • Help us test, iterate, and optimize designs to deliver and improve business results consistently.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow members of the creative, web, engineering and development teams as well as cross-functional stakeholders, like product marketing, lifecycle marketing, and strategy.
  • Champion the SoFi brand and user experience and help shape SoFi’s brand narrative.
  • Be a part of our close knit in-house Creative Studio, producing award winning, first-in-class advertising and marketing materials.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an advertising or in-house creative agency, with strong design and art direction skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and iterate on different design options based on stakeholder and creative feedback.
  • A deep interest in how the business works. You work to understand the strategies and goals of the Product Marketing Manager and collaborate to achieve them through smart visual communications.
  • Understanding and appreciation of performance data. You love testing design solutions and iterating based on results.
  • Comfort collaborating with product marketers, product designers, brand strategists, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while also supporting the larger team.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects with tight timelines while producing high-quality work.
  • Understanding of marketing strategies.
  • A strong, well-rounded portfolio full of beautiful, yet functional, work that demonstrates the ability to deliver business results.
  • Experience in creating effective marketing pages and collateral.
  • Awesome written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in similar regulated industries, primarily FinTech.
