About the position
We are seeking one (1) Art Teacher for Grade K-2, effective September 1, 2024. The position requires a dedicated individual who can foster creativity and artistic expression in young students while adhering to the New Jersey State Learning Standards.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Appropriate New Jersey Art of Teacher certificate
- Knowledge of the New Jersey State Learning Standards
- Effective instructional practices and strategies
- Ability to analyze and use data to drive instruction
- Experience working with elementary students
- Experience working with general and special education students
- Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character
- Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and respect others
- Must be computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators and community
