The teacher will instruct secondary pupils in various art disciplines, including crafts, drawing, painting, lettering, design, commercial art, art history, and three-dimensional art, following the course of study adopted by the Board of Education. Additionally, the teacher will conduct ongoing assessments of student skills and learning, modifying instructional methods to meet individual needs, and will provide individual and small group instruction as necessary. The position also requires organizing art displays and exhibitions, maintaining accurate records, and encouraging parental involvement in students' education.
