About The Position

The ASC Supply Chain Manager will be a key member of the leadership team at an established Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), responsible for overseeing purchasing, negotiations, and contract management across three outpatient surgery centers. This role involves both strategic and daily operations, focusing on improving profitability and financial health through effective materials management and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in Acute and Ambulatory Healthcare settings.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
• Ability to track logistics across multiple locations.

• Experience in managing supply chains in healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with outpatient surgery center operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing, negotiations, and contracts management for the ASC.
• Evaluate current utilization and inventory tracking systems, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Conduct diligent research on product utilization, inventory levels, and waste management.
• Develop a strong Materials Management Program through effective staff training and process improvements.
• Forecast inventory needs based on ASC metrics and data collection.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and ASC Procedure Scheduler to establish usage tracking parameters.
