This position is integral to Ascentium Capital, a division of Regions Bank, which provides convenient access to financing for business equipment and technology. The company serves a diverse clientele ranging from small organizations to Fortune 500 companies, offering programs that benefit manufacturers, distributors, and direct businesses nationwide. The finance specialization covers several segments, including technology, healthcare, hospitality, franchise, commercial vehicles, and other markets. Ascentium Capital strives to be the premier provider of customized finance programs that add value to its customers' businesses. The Direct Sales Account Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new leads, prospects, or clients through various means such as cold calling and referrals to achieve specified production goals. This role involves conducting phone meetings with potential clients to discuss products or services, making proposal presentations, and demonstrating how offerings meet their needs. The manager must communicate information regarding company products, services, and policies/procedures to both new and existing clients, negotiate terms and agreements to finalize sales, and secure deals. A thorough knowledge of company product information is essential, as is staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly and identify new opportunities. Additionally, the Direct Sales Account Manager ensures that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time, striving to provide an exceptional customer experience while meeting monthly quota goals consistently. The role also involves developing new business and maintaining existing business relationships, preparing and presenting customized client solutions to a diverse customer base in a competitive landscape, and effectively communicating the benefits of all product offerings to customers. This position requires tracking of time and is eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and it is also incentive eligible, allowing for potential earnings based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Stays updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly and identify new opportunities
  • Ensures that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
  • Strives to provide exceptional customer experience
  • Meets monthly quota goals on a consistent basis
  • Develops new business and maintains existing business relationships
  • Prepares and presents point of view around a customized client solution to a diverse customer base in a competitive landscape
  • Prepares quotes and negotiates terms when appropriate
  • Maintains understanding of all product offerings and effectively communicates the benefits of these products to customers

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Maintain an average of $300,000 in monthly production

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • One (1) year of commercial, small business, equipment financing or related inside sales experience
  • Demonstrated results meeting production sales goals
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and other applicable sales tools
