Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, recondition, and repair vehicles to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively.
  • Build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in the workplace.
  • Provide excellent customer service and care about customers and their vehicles.

Requirements

  • Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning.
  • Knowledge of health and safety compliance.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Maintain ASE Certifications where required by State/Local law.

Nice-to-haves

  • ASE Certification in Engine Repair (A1), Steering and Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), and Heating Air Conditioning (A7) for Certified Technicians in California.
  • ASE Certification in Engine Repair (A1), Transmission/Transaxle (A2), Manual Drive Train and Axles (A3), Steering and Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), Electrical (A6), Heating Air Conditioning (A7), and Engine Performance (A8) for Master Certified Technicians in California.
