About the position

As an Assembler I in the Panel Shop at Builders FirstSource, you will be working under direct supervision to perform one or more repetitive jobs on an assembly or sub-assembly line. Your primary responsibility will be to produce building material components or millwork products. This includes assembling various components such as wall panels, roof and floor trusses, and millwork products like doors, windows, cabinets, counters, vanities, or closets. The processes involved in this role will require you to engage in tasks such as the insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, fitting parts, and utilizing both hand and power tools effectively. This position is designed for individuals who are looking to start their careers in the manufacturing and assembly field. As an entry-level position, you will receive on-the-job training to help you develop the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in this role. You will be expected to demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to the assembly processes while ensuring quality and efficiency in your work.
