About the position

The Assembler I position at REV Group involves the assembly of ambulances and other specialty vehicles, focusing on both electrical and non-electrical components. The role is crucial in ensuring that the vehicles meet safety and quality standards, contributing to the company's mission of delivering reliable emergency vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Installing and mounting nonelectrical and electrical interior/exterior components and hardware
• Assembling fabricated parts, components, or other units at stations
• Reading blueprints and engineering specifications
• Ensuring safety requirements and manufacturing quality are met
• Cleaning and inspecting the product for quality standards

Requirements

• Preferred 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment
• Preferred high school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
• Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, screw guns, and caulk guns
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
• Successful completion of the drug and background screening
