About The Position

The Assembler - Fan, Blower and Modules will enable company success by performing duties to assemble, paint, inspect and test a variety of designs and sizes of fractional horsepower fans, blowers, and modules, including wiring connections and assembly of electrical & mechanical subcomponents. Soldering- Circuit board and box soldering, including electro-mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble final fan, blower & module products from electrical and mechanical subcomponents following drawings, work instructions and in-process inspection requirements.
  • Perform a wide range of tasks to assemble a fan, blower & module, including operation of equipment to assemble mechanical subcomponents, magnetizing, soldering wires/components, circuit boards, box soldering, encapsulation and part inspection.
  • Interpret part drawings and engage in improvement discussions with technical support groups such as Process Engineering, Quality, and Design Engineering.
  • Participate with teams to solve department area problems.
  • Measure parts using basic measuring tools such as rulers and calipers; basic math and algebra skills are a plus for test equipment set-up and comprehension.
  • Maintain established standards of quality, productivity & attendance.
  • Record information or data describing work performed or defects found.
  • Conduct product testing and performance testing including recording of results.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, including required PPE for the respective job being performed.
  • Be responsible for both the success of the individual and the team.
  • Work overtime as required (mandatory at times) and perform other related tasks as assigned.
