About The Position

The Assembler C position at L3 Harris involves performing simple to semi-complex assembly tasks under close supervision. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum 2-5 years experience assembling electro/mechanical hardware, preferably to military requirements and specifications.
• Minimum 2-5 years experience reading assembly blueprints, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and hardware requirements.
• Ability to read and understand both written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Electro-Mechanical parts and perform inner chassis wiring connections using various tools.
• Assemble Magnetic assemblies through all stages of the process, from core and coil assembly to final assembly.
• Assemble wood crates/pallets as needed/required.
• Perform simple to semi-complex cable assembly per shop order instructions and engineering drawing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate issues, concerns, and questions to supervisors and support groups.
• Comply with company's safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure accuracy of time charging on jobs performed.
• Pass soldering test and be certified ANSI-J-STD-001 as required.
