The position: The Asset Manager is responsible for supporting RPM Investments in the management of assets and client relationships. The Asset Manager will provide strategic oversight of a portfolio of assets, which includes financial reporting and analysis to monitor property performance. This role involves the identification of property-level and market trends and formulating strategies to maximize the value of each asset in accordance with its business plan. The Asset Manager will conduct quarterly property tours and performance reviews for portfolio assets, review marketing programs and pricing for these assets, and compile monthly and quarterly reports for equity partners. Additionally, the Asset Manager will perform cash flow analysis and generate distribution recommendations, monitor the status of renovation and capital improvement projects, and perform return on investment calculations. This position also includes assistance in preparing construction budgets and managing construction draws from debt and equity sources, compiling market research (e.g., market studies and competitive set profiles), and providing recommendations. The Asset Manager will also handle loan compliance and administration, as well as assist with acquisitions, recapitalizations, and dispositions within the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university, preferably in Finance, Economics, or another quantitative field.
  • Minimum three years' experience; prior asset management or finance roles preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
