As an Asset Manager for a specialized section within the Command Post Modernization (CPMod) program, you will leverage your expertise to provide comprehensive oversight of the equipment ordering process for this critical initiative. You will manage the lifecycle of mission-critical assets from initial procurement through integration and deployment, ensuring operational readiness and maximum efficiency. You will develop and maintain robust tracking systems that enhance visibility across your assigned section while serving as the subject matter expert (SME) on the equipment ordering process for all stakeholders. You'll facilitate equipment requests, monitor progress, and proactively resolve issues before they impact mission timelines. You'll coordinate closely with engineers, logisticians, financial analysts, and procurement teams to ensure seamless shipment and delivery of equipment, particularly for time-sensitive integration activities. Your meticulous attention to detail will be essential as you maintain comprehensive documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery confirmations, to ensure audit readiness. You'll develop clear, actionable reports on equipment status for various audiences and ensure strict compliance with DoD policies, regulations, and directives. Through your collaborative approach with cross-functional teams, you'll continuously optimize the equipment ordering process to enhance operational efficiency and support the success of the CPMod program.
