About the position

As an Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the transportation of classified and unclassified intelligence IT equipment globally. This position is based at our Colorado Springs office and requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph. You will be responsible for ensuring that logistics requirements are met by working closely with customers and funding personnel to secure appropriate funding. Your support will extend to various areas including acquisition, logistics management, and managing an operational spares program. In this role, you will also assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications. You will gather technical information and prepare written text, maintaining a current internal documentation library. Proficiency in multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio is essential. The working environment is generally favorable, with a general office setting that may require occasional standing and walking. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the transportation of classified and unclassified intelligence IT equipment throughout the world.
  • Work on customs issues for worldwide transportation.
  • Collaborate with customers and funding personnel to ensure appropriate funding is available to meet logistics requirements.
  • Assist in acquisition, logistics management, equipment and spares database management, shipping and tracking, SCRM compliance, and managing an operational spares program.
  • Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications.
  • Gather technical information and prepare written text.
  • Maintain a current internal documentation library.
  • Utilize multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Requirements

  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience in addition to education level.
  • Experience working in a DoD or IC environment is desired.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.
