ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Asset Manager to join our team in Tysons, VA. This role is critical in overseeing the lifecycle management of IT assets, including procurement, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning. Ensure accurate asset inventory, compliance with company policies, and optimization of resources to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the lifecycle management of IT assets, including procurement, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Conduct comprehensive asset inventories, including both scheduled and customer-requested audits.
  • Verify asset details, including location and status, ensuring data accuracy in all records.
  • Review and validate asset information for incoming transactions to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Retrieve and reconcile assets listed across various accounts, ensuring proper allocation and tracking.
  • Local travel may be required between customer buildings or temporary assignment to an alternate location in support of special projects.
  • Member of a team comprised of a variety of skills that provide coverage from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Leadership responsibilities may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experiences, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to 6+ years.
  • Advanced knowledge of customer and asset management regulations, policies, and unique authorities.
  • Demonstrated experience with customer asset management tools and software.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel to develop reports.

  • Strong communication skills due to variety of groups to be working with, such as co-workers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information.
  • Ability to adapt to quickly changing tasks and requirements and the ability to quickly learn new skills while on the job.
