Pay $110,000 - $130,000 a year Job type Full-time Location Fairfield, CA 94533 Full job description Responsibilities include the accurate and timely preparation and analyses of all facets of the financial operations of the company, including financial statement preparation, cash management, and all other fiscally related duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for delivering timely and accurate reporting of monthly financials and daily cash management reports. Organize timely month closings and balance sheet reconciliations while reviewing financials for accuracy. Manage cash management, including generating weekly payment selections, performing international wire transfers, ACH payments, and maintaining line of credit. Generate and report on monthly margins & customer P&Ls. Oversee and coordinate bank audits and year-end reviews. Indirectly oversee both the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. File quarterly sales & use taxes. Follow applicable regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions. Assist with maintaining internal controls. Communicate with the Controller in a timely manner, providing accurate information to help resolve issues and/or propose recommendations. Work effectively with team members, employees, internal contacts across departments, and externally, with vendors or customers. Understand the ERP system to help resolve system questions from the accounting staff. Assist with the annual budget process as needed. Perform other duties, projects, tasks, and reconciliations as needed or assigned. Educational and Job Experience Requirements Minimum: A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an Accounting Manager role or higher. Preferred: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting or a similar related field, plus a minimum of 5+ years of relevant accounting experience; or an Associate of Science (A.S.) with a highly relevant combination of years of applicable work/industry experience and training. Job-related Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong data input and report generation skills. Good mathematical skills with the ability to calculate formulas and algebraic functions. Excellent organization and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with proficiency in English. Proficient with Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint), with a minimum of intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot tables and Lookups. Proficient with accounting software applications and systems. Demonstrated ability to consistently apply good judgment and ensure credibility and integrity with quality/accuracy of work. Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across the organization and in a team environment. Ability to work with and maintain strict confidential data. Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, complete all work on schedule, and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to meet new job requirements and processes.
