About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 12 credit hours of accounting coursework
• 1-3 years of experience as either a senior accountant or assistant controller
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and related accounting business systems
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities

• CPA or MBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly financial close functions through preparation of financial statements for each operating location
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare annual financial budgets
• Prepare detailed budget, income, or expenditure reports
• Complete monthly financial projection analysis
• Conduct rate analysis and review
• Manage flow of accounting data to/from remote facilities
• Evaluate and assess internal controls and operating results, including analysis of budget to actual results; present cost reduction recommendations to management
• Provide training to non-financial personnel on internal control compliance and accounting procedures
• Handle special projects as assigned
