About the position
The Assistant Director for the ACU/ICU is responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This leadership role is ideal for a skilled nurse looking to make a significant impact while managing a multidisciplinary team and improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ACU/ICU to ensure optimal patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Manage staffing, supplies, and equipment to meet both patient and business needs.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the Director, physicians, SLC, and other hospital departments.
- Develop strategies to improve workflow, patient outcomes, and team performance.
Requirements
- Current Nebraska RN license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical or ICU nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team.
