About the position

The Assistant Director - Enterprise Risk Management will support the enterprise risk management program, with a specific focus on enhancing risk response strategies and integrating risk considerations into investable structures. Reporting to the Senior Director - Enterprise Risk Management & Integration, the Assistant Director will play a crucial role in driving effective risk responses, collaborating with the Transformation team, and fostering strong relationships with business partners across the company to ensure holistic risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in driving effective risk response strategies, including providing guidance on incorporating risk considerations into the design and maturation of investable structures.
  • Collaborate with the Transformation team to aggregate risk information and support periodic reporting to the Enterprise Risk Executive Committee, quarterly business reviews and other senior leadership and the Board.
  • Utilize analytics capabilities to draw data insights from the incorporation of risk in investable structures, contributing to consistent metrics on risk status and informing strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the preparation and delivery of presentations to executive committees and senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, business leaders, and risk management teams, to ensure alignment on risk-related objectives and the integration of risk into business planning processes.
  • Support the development of strategic initiatives related to risk management, including the enhancement of the company's risk appetite framework, risk policies, risk governance structures, while also supporting enterprise risk education and skill strategy advancement.
  • Support other Enterprise Risk Management & Resiliency (ERMR) initiatives in coordination with the ERMR leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' progressive experience in risk management, audit, compliance, or privacy.
