As an Assistant Club Manager at LA Fitness, you will play a crucial role in fostering a vibrant health and fitness environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the selection, training, and retention of club staff including babysitting and janitorial personnel.
  • Oversee facility maintenance and ensure a clean and safe environment for members.
  • Manage vendor relations and coordinate services provided to the club.
  • Handle property management tasks to maintain club standards.
  • Assist in payroll processing and budget management for supplies and resources.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage employee time-off requests.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure a high level of member satisfaction.
  • Contribute to creating a motivating environment that promotes health and fitness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 1 year of Assistant Management level experience.
  • Strong customer service skills with at least 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work full-time, five days a week, specifically Friday to Tuesday.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in janitorial services or facility maintenance.
  • Familiarity with vendor management processes.
