About the position

The Operations Manager In Training (OMIT) position at L.A. Fitness is designed to prepare individuals for the role of Operations Manager. This role focuses on ensuring exceptional service for members through effective management of staff and facility operations. The OMIT will gain hands-on experience in managing a health club environment, including overseeing staff, resolving membership issues, and maintaining facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional service from staff to members
• Oversee weekend coverage during training
• Hire, train, and develop Front Desk, Kids Club, and Janitorial staff
• Resolve membership issues
• Manage payroll and supplies budget
• Ensure facility management and cleanliness
• Uphold company standards

Requirements

• Ability to relocate to Springfield, PA before starting work
• Experience in management or supervisory roles preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
