Assistant General Manager - Commercial

About the position

The Commercial Assistant Property Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the efficient and effective management of our commercial real estate portfolio. Working closely with the property management team, this position will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to tenant relations, lease administration, financial management, and overall property operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular on-site visits to commercial properties within the portfolio, including property inspections and meetings with tenants.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure a hands-on approach to property management.
• Interact with tenants in person and through various communication channels to address concerns and foster positive relationships.
• Attend tenant meetings and events to maintain open lines of communication and address any issues promptly.
• Assist the Property Manager in the preparation of monthly reports according to needs.
• Supervise on-site staff as directed by the Property Manager.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including property managers, leasing agents, maintenance personnel, and finance professionals.
• Perform other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years industry experience.
• Sales and/or leasing experience.
• General office and accounting skills.
• Computer proficient.
