About the position

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations at Andy's Frozen Custard, ensuring compliance with company standards and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, driving sales, and maintaining operational efficiency while embodying the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in directing daily operations of the store.
• Ensure compliance with company standards in product preparation, customer service, and financial accountability.
• Select, train, and coach staff to achieve key results in Custard, Crew, and Customers.
• Manage food ordering, deliveries, and inventory adjustments.
• Drive key performance indicators and overall profitability of the store.
• Lead the store in the absence of the General Manager.
• Communicate effectively with the District Manager and corporate office.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new crew members as needed.
• Forecast, schedule, and execute the labor model as designed.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure exceptional service is delivered.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of management experience in the food service industry or a related field.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage cash according to cash handling policies.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Open availability to work 30+ hours per week, including late nights and weekends.
