Assistant General Manager

About the position

Are you ready to join StepStone Hospitality in this new year? We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for excellence and a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry. Located in Cranberry Township and with Andy Warhol Museum reachable within 21 miles, Hampton Inn & Suites Cranberry Township/Mars provides a fitness center, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. The property is around 21 miles from Pittsburgh Children's Museum, 21 miles from PNC Park and 21 miles from David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the business
• Handles the Human Resources responsibilities for the property
• Ensure that all employees are providing exceptional customer service
• Manage and train staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional campaign

Requirements

• PEP experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management role in the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
