About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell supports the Restaurant General Manager by overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with Taco Bell standards, and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves managing team members, handling inventory, and maintaining financial accountability while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant General Manager in running effective work shifts.
  • Ensure Team Members and Shift Leaders complete all assigned duties.
  • Manage inventory and maintain financial accountability.
  • Serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner.
  • Ensure the restaurant is a safe environment for employees and customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; College or University Degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
  • Basic personal computer literacy.
  • Strong preference for internal promotion from Shift Leader position.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must pass background check criteria.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills, with strong analytical/decision-making skills.
