About the position

The Industrial Automation team aims to improve manufacturing that supports a sustainable society, offering an extensive portfolio of sensors, controllers, motors, robotics, vision, and safety solutions. The position is based in Chennai and involves responsibilities in business generation, partner management, and data management.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and order booking targets in the assigned region (Tamilnadu, Except Coimbatore)
  • Prepare and implement business plans monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Create and execute account plans for all customers and update on a quarterly basis
  • Develop new customers in the assigned region using a solution sales approach through customer visits/calls
  • Plan and forecast sales on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for assigned customers
  • Increase in-house business shares in existing customers
  • Conduct Tech days/Seminars at key customers
  • Manage CP (Channel Partner) / System integrators / SOP (Solution partners) / distributors in consultation with Channel Management Department (CMD)
  • Control direct customer/CP Credit term and Credit limit for the region in consultation with the CMD
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with Customers and Channel Partners
  • Maintain and analyze region and industry-specific data as per business needs
  • Prepare various MIS reports, presentations, etc. as per requirements
  • Ensure eCRM hygiene and log data into GSFA (SFDC) and regularly update the same

Requirements

  • B.E OR Equivalent Diploma
  • MBA (in any stream) is preferred
  • 5 to 8 Years of Experience in the field of Industrial Automation
  • Basic Knowledge of PLC, Servo, HMI, Vision, Safety, Sensors, Components
  • Robotics Knowledge (Added Advantage)
  • Experience dealing with OEM's and EU's
  • Experience dealing with Channel Partners, Direct Customers, System Integrators
  • Presentation Skills
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Good Communication & Presentation skills with an eye for details
  • Adaptable, Target oriented and dedicated extra efforts if needed on assignments
