The Assistant Manager at AT&T plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of retail stores, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while managing and developing a team. This position involves collaborating with the store manager to meet sales objectives, assist with merchandising, and provide leadership through training and coaching. The role is designed for individuals with retail knowledge and leadership abilities, aiming to foster a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the retail store in partnership with the store manager.
• Assist with merchandising and product launches.
• Help meet and exceed sales objectives.
• Provide exceptional customer service and experience with AT&T products and services.
• Coach and develop a team of retail sales consultants to achieve sales and service goals.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.

Requirements

• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Prior management experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
• Strategic perspective and the ability to champion change.
