About the position

The Assistant Nursing Home Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the Living Centers Administrator by participating in decision-making processes related to the development and implementation of long-term care (LTC) programs and systems. This position oversees the operations of the Social Work and Activities departments, providing guidance and direction to employees while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Make recommendations and participate in decision-making for LTC programs and systems.
  • Oversee the operations of the HLC Social Work and Activities departments.
  • Provide direction and guidance to employees in the respective departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Must be fully licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator within 2 years of hire or six months from license eligibility, whichever is shorter.
  • Prior experience with statistics, data collection, analysis, and data presentation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator preferred.
  • 3 years of Long Term Care related experience preferred.
  • Current or past experience with performance improvement processes preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $67,000 - $75,000 per year.
  • Full-time employment with a day schedule.
