About the position

The University of Cincinnati - Clermont is seeking an Assistant Professor - Educator of Paralegal for a non-tenure track position starting August 15, 2025. This role focuses on expanding enrollment in the Law and Paralegal Studies Program and ensuring compliance with ABA Guidelines. The position requires a strong commitment to online teaching and mentoring at the college level, with responsibilities including teaching various aspects of paralegal studies and business law.

Responsibilities

  • Teach 12 credit hours per semester across two semesters per academic year.
  • Expand and grow enrollment for the Law and Paralegal Studies Program.
  • Ensure program compliance with ABA Guidelines for Approval of Paralegal Programs.
  • Contribute to departmental, institutional, and organizational activities.
  • Mentor students in online learning environments.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate degree.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience in the legal field.
  • Experience working with or as a paralegal.
  • Demonstrated experience in online teaching and mentoring at the college level.
  • Licensed to practice law in good standing.
  • Willingness to relocate to the greater Cincinnati area.
