About the position

Our clients are an executive couple with grown children who are seeking a hands-on Assistant Property Manager for their two Miami residences to ensure they are impeccably run and beautifully maintained. This role reports to a Regional Director. The right candidate can work alongside and manage a small team to ensure the principals' high standards are met. This is not an office-based role, and the successful candidate will be expected to engage directly with the properties and the team to maintain a high level of service and care. The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for daily walkthroughs of the properties and residences to ensure everything is in order. This includes ensuring the 24/7/365 security of the properties, performing preventative and general maintenance and cleaning duties, and overseeing the upkeep of the residences. Tasks may include washing windows, pressure washing hard surfaces, vacuuming and skimming pools/spas, washing and detailing vehicles, changing A/C filters, cleaning drains, adding algae tabs, and replacing lightbulbs and batteries. The role also involves wiping down outdoor furniture and removing and replacing covers daily, as well as regularly inspecting all systems to ensure they are in proper working order. In addition to maintenance tasks, the Assistant Property Manager will coordinate, oversee, and manage repairs, building maintenance, and landscaping work performed by staff, vendors, and contractors. Keeping vehicles fully serviced and properly stored is also a key responsibility. The role may require assisting with driving and errands, ensuring the residences are ready for family and guest visits, and overseeing arrivals and departures. The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the team to ensure financial objectives are met and the best operating procedures are followed, as well as collaborate on special projects and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience caring for and maintaining fine homes, yachts, or luxury hospitality properties.
  • Broad knowledge of operations systems.
  • Proven track record of successful property and vendor management.
  • Professional demeanor and strong hands-on work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the principals.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Benefits

  • Compensation of $80,000-$90,000 with excellent benefits and an annual discretionary bonus.
