As an Assistant Property Manager at Berkshire Residential Investments, you will play a crucial role in our property management team, which is nationally respected for creating memorable and valuable experiences for all stakeholders. Your day will be filled with a variety of administrative duties, training, sales, and customer service tasks, all aimed at supporting the Property Manager and the entire team. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate resident records, managing electronic payments through the Resident Portal, and staying informed about local market conditions and trends. You will also be expected to contribute ideas to the Property Manager for financial success and improving resident satisfaction. Your interpersonal skills will be essential as you interact with residents from diverse backgrounds, ensuring professional communication both verbally and in writing. Additionally, you will mentor and assist the leasing team, providing excellent customer service to prospective and existing residents, as well as your team members. This role requires creativity, enthusiasm, and a strong drive for zero delinquency, making it an exciting opportunity for those passionate about property management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate resident records and update on a daily basis

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in the apartment industry
  • Experience in managing people is preferred
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Basic understanding of a property budget
  • Proficient in writing, speaking, and understanding the English language
  • Patience and dedication to the role
