About the position

The Assistant Site Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations across various business lines on-site. This position ensures that personnel adhere to company policies and cultural standards while also meeting customer expectations. The Assistant Site Manager is responsible for stepping in for the Site Manager when necessary, developing site objectives, and improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assume role and responsibilities of the Site Manager in their absence.
• Develop short-term objectives and goals at the site.
• Establish guidelines and protocols for subordinate supervisors regarding inspections of facilities, equipment, and personnel.
• Evaluate personnel performance and provide hands-on support as needed.
• Identify operational and administrative deficiencies and recommend improvements to management.
• Ensure all on-site resources are trained on health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Mediate, investigate, and respond to on-site concerns and incidents.
• Assist with adherence to department budget and ensure timely project implementation within budget parameters.
• Prepare detailed reports and paperwork with recommendations for site management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience in business operations, janitorial, housekeeping, guard, or caregiver roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and scheduling programs.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills with diverse groups.
• Ability to follow orders and provide solutions in critical situations.
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and console monitors.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for the entire shift.
