About the position

As a Nurse Manager (RN) at Marquis Forest Grove Assisted Living, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that quality nursing care is provided to our residents. Your nursing and leadership skills will be essential in directing the day-to-day functions of the caregiver staff. This position requires you to meet regularly with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities effectively. You will also be responsible for delegating nursing tasks to non-certified staff working within the Assisted Living community, ensuring that all care provided meets the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day functions of the caregiver staff.
  • Meet with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities.
  • Delegate nursing tasks to non-certified staff in the Assisted Living community.
  • Ensure quality nursing care is provided to residents.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative environment among nursing staff.
  • Conduct staff evaluations and manage scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed RN for the appropriate State.
  • Experience as a nursing supervisor is required.
  • Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and/or Home Health Nursing experience is strongly desired.
  • Experience working in the mental health sector of healthcare is a plus, but not required.
