About the position

The Assisted Sales Representative at ActionLink is responsible for client training, sales support, and managing special events at assigned retail locations. This role focuses on driving incremental sales growth month over month and year over year for the retailers they support.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales support to assigned retailers.
• Identify sales opportunities at the store level, including ads, inventory, and traffic awareness.
• Schedule and conduct in-store sales events.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with manufacturers and retailers as needed.
• Train department personnel through ongoing sales floor and classroom sessions.
• Deliver product knowledge, hardware and solution overviews, features and benefits, and new product orientations.
• Evaluate store staff's demonstration capabilities.
• Conduct sales skills assessments and provide coaching when applicable.
• Complete reports on the same day as store visits.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of a High School diploma; a 2+ year college degree is preferred.
• Minimum of six months of training or sales retail experience.
• Thorough knowledge of all selected retailer requirements.
• Ability to make presentations to large groups (over 5 attendees).
• Awareness of retail sales incentive programs is desirable.
• Prior experience working on a similar structured program is preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to travel within the assigned market regularly and have reliable transportation.
• Able to work flexible hours.
