About the position

As our Associate Brand Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for contributing to the development, creation, and implementation of effective brand marketing strategies. You will support the planning and execution of omni channel marketing campaigns for all Oriental Trading Company business solutions, ensuring alignment with merch strategies and marketing growth opportunities. You will also support the brand and campaign team to execute key tactics including social programs, influencer growth initiatives, content marketing, and video brief creation for CTV and additional channels as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the team by executing campaign planning tactics such as asset planning and campaign brief execution
  • Creates short form video content to support campaign plans in collaboration with the brand team
  • Manages influencer campaigns from ideation, communication, and execution with direction from the Sr. Brand Strategist
  • Supports and implements digital ad planning calendar for TikTok, Pinterest, display, CTV and new innovation channels as assigned
  • Assists in overseeing the marketing campaign planning calendar for featured and micro campaigns as assigned
  • Writes, edits, and manages assignments for blog and related content as assigned
  • Executes other organic social tactics as assigned

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related field
  • 1-3 years experience in Marketing or Communications field
  • Proficient at client interaction
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication
  • Must have a basic understanding of mathematics
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills in dealing with a variety of diverse personalities
  • Must be able to work independently and creatively within the pressure of deadlines
  • Requires an open attitude regarding change and input from others
  • Must have curiosity to learn and grow through new projects
  • Must be proficient across all social platforms
  • Must be proficient in both Macintosh and PC environments, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint software
  • Excellent organizational, time management and attention to detail skills
  • Must have strong time management skills and be able to multi-task
