About the position

The Associate Copywriter for Adult Learner Recruitment at EAB is responsible for creating effective marketing campaigns that resonate with the unique voices of partner colleges and universities. This entry-level role involves collaborating with senior copywriters, art directors, and client teams to develop engaging copy that meets client objectives and adheres to marketing principles. The position requires a passion for writing and a commitment to helping students find their ideal college fit.

Responsibilities

• Understand client objectives to craft direct marketing copy that is tailored, consistent, and identifiable for each client.
• Learn from feedback to produce copy that is clear, compelling, and on point for the target audience.
• Contribute to copy and recruitment marketing discussions in client meetings.
• Support the copywriting group by providing coverage, taking on overflow work, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Participate in team, creative, and process meetings.
• Embrace company-wide process improvement, systems development, and training initiatives.
• Possess the technical flexibility to quickly adapt to changing systems and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into copy.
• Ability to manage time and meet tight deadlines as well as work late hours/weekends as needed.
• A passion for writing and the willingness to collaborate with and learn from other creative professionals.
• Technically savvy and able to adapt to changing systems and processes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 1 year of experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct and consistent with prescribed styles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities/deadlines.
