About the position

The Associate Copywriter at FCB Chicago is a junior role aimed at supporting senior copy and creative staff. This position focuses on developing creative writing skills through proofreading, writing small projects, and assisting in project organization. The role provides an opportunity for individuals with basic creative writing skills to enhance their copywriting and conceptual abilities in direct marketing, advertising, and promotional strategies under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Proofread manuscripts and mechanicals as needed for senior copy and creative staff
• Create copy under direction and supervision of senior copy staff
• Assist senior creative staff in management of projects within the department

Requirements

• 0+ years of relevant experience
• Accomplished proofreading skills for heavy text applications
• Computer proficiency in MS Word
• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience required
