About the position

The Owned Digital Team is responsible for executing marketing targeted communications through TD's Digital Channels - td.com, online banking, & TD Bank's Mobile App - to drive growth for the bank. Our team collaborates closely with partners across Product, MarTech, Digital & Technology to continuously enhance our capabilities and create value at every Customer Touchpoint. As an Associate Digital Marketing Manager in the Owned Digital Function, you will play a key role in coordination and support of campaign execution, applying department and process to achieve unit goals. Will mentor or review the work of peers which would include providing required backup and cross training within the group.

Responsibilities

  • Lead/manage moderately to complex key project plans/planning, and/or campaigns within the digital, social, and content marketing space.
  • Support internal and/or external consulting and advisory services for businesses or functions within own portfolio.
  • Apply best practices to implement process, product or service improvements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert within their own area of specialty or as a resource for others.
  • Lead projects of moderately to complex risk and resource requirements.
  • Contribute to setting standards within area of expertise.
  • Solve complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables.
  • Build stakeholder alignment in leading projects and activities.
  • Work independently as the senior technical lead and guide others within area of expertise.
  • Identify and lead problem resolution for complex issues at all levels.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry, and product/customer markets.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends.
  • Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations.
  • Ability to manage a budget and work within the constraints of that budget.
  • Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office.
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Lead team in the delivery of campaign build planning, preparation, testing and execution activities.
  • Provides expert professional knowledge of testing methodology, best practices and processes.
  • Experience using SalesForce Marketing Cloud preferred but not required.
  • Experience with platform technical enablement for owned digital channels.
  • Experience utilizing digital marketing technology to drive personalized and targeted experiences.
  • Working knowledge and expertise in strategies utilized to optimize performance through multiple digital devices.
  • Experience in understanding customer journeys through multiple digital channels.
  • Business acumen: strategic thinking, business process development, analytical and problem-solving skills.
