About the position

The Associate Director, Agile Coaching at Humana is responsible for guiding, educating, and mentoring organizational leaders and their teams to successfully adopt Agile methodologies across the enterprise. This role focuses on instilling a culture of innovation and psychological safety while driving continuous improvement through Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. The position requires a solid understanding of interdepartmental capabilities and involves managing a team of agile coaches to support the organization’s transition to Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor organizational leaders and teams in Agile methodologies.
• Manage a team of agile coaches to support Agile adoption.
• Promote a culture of innovation and psychological safety.
• Drive continuous improvement through Agile principles and practices.
• Provide ongoing coaching on high-profile initiatives.
• Create self-reliance within supported areas.
• Identify and resolve complex challenges within departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Active SPCT certification with experience training core SAFe classes.
