About The Position

The Associate Director HR Business Partner at Chewy is responsible for driving organizational effectiveness and talent engagement, focusing on culture change at scale. This role involves strategic and hands-on work to build a high-performing, diverse team and create customer-centric HR solutions that support Chewy's long-term success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Human Resources Business Partner experience in fast-paced, high rate-of-change environments.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a relevant field and appropriate HR certifications.
  • Demonstrable ability to influence and inspire change with leaders across agile startup organizations.
  • Proven success in delivering high-impact people operations programs around performance management, culture, team member engagement, and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out overall HR strategies for a specific client group that drives a high-performing and highly engaged culture.
  • Work cross-functionally with aligned leaders to deliver on the long-term vision for key talent initiatives.
  • Drive future organizational design and change management initiatives to maintain a motivated and impactful team.
  • Engage with HR COEs and the business to build and execute scalable people programs and processes.
  • Implement and track long-range growth planning impacting engagement, performance, training, development, and retention.
  • Partner with leaders to understand and anticipate hiring and development needs.
  • Promote the company's Operating Principles throughout the organization.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with all Federal and State laws.
