About the position

The Associate Director - National Accounts at The Millennium Group is responsible for managing strategic operations of multiple high-profile accounts. This role involves ensuring excellent client satisfaction and site performance, while also covering for the Executive Director in their absence. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to build relationships with business leaders and to manage operational costs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and provides direct support to assigned site leadership throughout their span of control.
  • Acts as a trusted partner, building strong relationships with business leaders through timely, relevant and tailored communication.
  • Provides timely customer support in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ensures service level agreements are met and/or exceeded, and that performance goals are maintained using cost-effective technology.
  • Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs within the functional area, alerting the manager of cost and labor overruns.
  • Ensures services are being met and/or exceeded according to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Ensures the Operation team follows company policy and procedures.
  • Manages budget and controls expenses effectively.
  • Hires, trains, develops, and appraises staff effectively, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Keeps up-to-date on information and technology affecting functional areas to increase innovation and ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in managing multiple locations for mail, shipping/receiving, and office services.
  • Proven track record of operations leadership and integrity with 5-7 years of related experience in Production, Office Services, or Facilities Management.
  • Strong leadership, customer relationship skills, and project management abilities.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • 4-year college degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional operational expertise including quality and six sigma process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance tactical business needs with strategic directions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
