About the position

Verizon's Security practice helps our clients take full advantage of key Verizon assets that drive end-to-end technology solutions for our customers to transform their businesses and deliver better business outcomes. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven enterprise sales executive leader focused on leading a team to sell our market-leading advisory and consulting services that address complex challenges and drive optimal customer and employee experiences. The Associate Director - Security Product Sales is responsible for leading a consultative sales team focused on Security solutions and assisting in developing sales opportunities with our Enterprise client base in the Principal Accounts segment.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing a business plan, marketing strategy, and growth initiatives for assigned accounts across Verizon's Global Enterprise customers
  • Leading sales team to manage client relationships and drive new business acquisitions
  • Overseeing the funnel health and leading the team in driving funnel growth, sales velocity, and greater funnel yield
  • Ensuring compliance with Verizon, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Overseeing the recruitment and retention of top talent within the team with effective coaching and development plans
  • Ensuring the practice's culture and values are communicated and aligned to each seller's strategic business goals
  • Communicating clearly and persuasively with employees, other partnerships, and entities inside and outside of Verizon
  • Helping the team create opportunities and grow revenue within assigned enterprise accounts
  • Guiding the team to use a consultative sales approach to understand the customer's business objectives, challenges, and requirements
  • Assisting team in becoming subject matter experts on our Cyber Intelligence and Analytics, Critical Infrastructure, Global Managed Security Services, Threat and Risk Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management, Governance Risk and Compliance, or Security & Network Architecture
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to aid the team in developing customized sales strategies for each client
  • Inspecting and driving team to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing
  • Staying current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging AI and digital trends
  • Identifying, establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with primary clients
  • Partnering with marketing, product, and account teams to support the development of go-to-market strategies, sales collateral, and demand-generation activities
  • Meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required
  • Experience in selling complex security solutions
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with senior-level executives
  • Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles and navigating large enterprise environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Track record of exceeding sales revenue in emerging technology or emerging product areas
  • Successful sales management experience leading a multi-departmental team setup
  • Experience with solution selling to C-level Executives in the Fortune 500 and Global market
  • Strong business financial analysis skills
  • Previous experience working directly with senior executives
  • Ability to work under pressure of tight timelines; detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to interact at the most senior levels internal and external to Verizon
  • Ability to communicate knowledge and expertise to provide insight and direction to the business
  • Presentation skills for executive-level management
  • Self-motivated, resilient, winning mindset
  • A valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
