The Associate Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics plays a crucial role in maintaining diagnostic tools that directly impact patient health and well-being. This position is part of the Service Organization located in the DC/Baltimore metro area and is fully remote. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of Beckman Coulter equipment, specifically servicing the Urinalysis and Hematology systems. The role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repair needs on Beckman Coulter equipment. The engineer will also provide excellent and efficient service to customers, along with technical training on products. In this position, the engineer will work under moderate direction from Field Service mentors and leadership, maintaining accurate customer service logs and internal service records, ordering repair parts, and adhering to cycle times. The role involves utilizing business systems such as OBI, Sales Force, and SharePoint for Service Call Planning and advancing team goals. Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders is essential to understand and meet their unique needs, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and support for long-term retention.
