About the position

The position involves working as a Product Manager at Movement, a company that is redefining the mortgage industry through its commitment to Impact Lending. The role focuses on solving business problems by enhancing Movement's software, collaborating with various stakeholders to understand their needs, and translating those into product requirements. The Product Manager will also be responsible for maintaining a product backlog, managing deployment content, and ensuring product performance aligns with the company's vision of making a significant impact in communities.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully solves business problems by extending and enhancing Movement's software.
  • Collaborates with the Product Manager, business leaders, stakeholders, and customers to understand their strategic and tactical needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Contributes to defining and communicating the product vision, strategy, and goals for your area.
  • Creates and maintains a clear and visible product backlog, ensuring well-defined and estimated user stories based on business value and technical dependencies that are in line with the product roadmap.
  • Works closely with the development team, participating in team ceremonies, providing clarifications on user stories and ensuring alignment with the product vision.
  • Creates process flow documentation and business requirements.
  • Actively manages deployment content, performs testing to ensure platform stability during and after releases.
  • Monitors product performance and user feedback to guide future product iterations.
  • Works closely with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and drive product adoption.
  • Conducts market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and industry trends.
  • Provides regular updates on product progress to stakeholders and the product team.
  • Confidently presents system demos, trainings, focus groups, and business meetings.
  • As required, provides day to day escalation and system support to end users.
