Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) and external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and executed properly.
• Determine root causes for products or materials that do not meet required standards and implement effective corrective actions.
• Write inspection procedures and assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositions.
• Analyze quality performance for the factory and collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans for identified problem areas.
• Serve as the primary customer Quality interface, which may include conducting customer business briefings.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Six Sigma, LEAN, and/or simulation tools like Arena, CAD, and/or AutoCAD.
