About the position

As an Associate Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical role in driving growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers. This entry-level position serves as the first point of contact for prospects, helping to build a pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team. Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential customers through various channels, including social media, web research, and industry events.
  • Initiate contact with potential customers via phone, email, and social media to introduce Sage's products and services.
  • Assess the needs and challenges of potential customers to determine if they are a good fit for our solutions.
  • Schedule meetings and product demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Accurately record and manage all interactions and activities in the CRM system to ensure up-to-date and comprehensive data.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on strategies and improve lead generation efforts.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualified meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and engage with potential customers.
  • High level of self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed in a sales role.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or related roles is a plus but not required.
