About the position

The position involves the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft communication equipment, adhering to Company manuals and manufacturer's guidelines. Mechanics are required to sign for work accomplished and must remain vigilant for defective, worn, or failed parts, ensuring safe working conditions. Additional responsibilities include housekeeping duties related to the work area and the maintenance of company property. Mechanics will perform tasks assigned by supervisors or higher management and will be directly responsible to the Director of Quality Control when exercising authority under the RII provisions. Attendance at Company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft communication equipment.
  • Sign for work accomplished.
  • Remain alert for defective, worn, or failed parts and ensure safe working conditions.
  • Perform housekeeping duties related to the work area and maintenance of company property.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Supervisor or higher management.
  • Be responsible to the Director of Quality Control when exercising authority under RII provisions.
  • Attend Company training classes as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check.
  • Experience with 757/767 aircraft.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and sit for extended periods.
  • Compliance with ATI attendance requirements.
  • Experience with Parts 121, 125, 145; Heavy transport category aircraft experience preferred.
  • Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
  • Valid passport or ability to obtain one.
  • Willingness to travel to other ATI stations for maintenance as directed by the department manager.

Benefits

  • Compensation of $40.00 per hour (or $47.00 per hour for geographic adjusted locations).
